The Dr. Rawal award aims at improving oratory skill by listening to a good orator in the relevant topic.

The Award includes a memento and a certificate  The selecxtion of receipient of the award is based on follwoing criteria.
(A) Be a very good orator, known for  his/her skill of oratory/lecturing.
(B) Be working/practicing/teaching/training in the field of Preventive and Social Medicine/Community Medicine/Public Health/Social or Behavioral Science/Humanities/Social work;
(C) Not be considered on the basis of seniority, age or sex;

Priority guides for selection are as below..

1. A teacher / student of Preventive and Social Medicine who is a member of IAPSM-GC
2. A teacher / student of Preventive and Social Medicine who may not be a member of IAPSM-GC;;
3. An expert from the field of medical sciences or alternative medicine
4. An expert of other faculties.
