Indian Association of Preventive & Social Medicine – Gujarat Chapter (IAPSM-GC) is a professional body of the experts in the field of Community Medicine/Public Health.  It is affiliated with its national body Indian  Association of Preventive & Social Medicine (registered in trust act. (registered  on 13th February 1984 under Society Act XXI 1860 at New Delhi.) In Gujarat this chapter is functional since 1994 and registered under Trust Act and Society Act on 8th Nov 2011.  IAPSM-GC is having more than 600 members who are professionals in the field.

IAPSM-GC is working with objective to promote the health in the state through enhancing the technical capacity of the people involved in the Public health, Health Research and Community Medicine academics. Annual conference, Continued Medical Education, Post Graduate students’ support activities, training, and publishing biannually a Journal are key activities of the IAPSM-GC.
